This show seems to apologize black women for everything. Christina all but literally told Ruby: 'It's fine to want some white dikk even with racial injustice everywhere.'

Episode for the rest was great though even with all the shoddy writing. Everybody's worried about Dee, than when she finally shows up after being missing for a day and is clearly shook of something Leti's like 'Drink some water, okay?'

I think Christina symbolizes modern white feminism. Most of her conversation with the other women is about beating men at their own game, and she's willing to use men (Tic & William) as tools to achieve that goal.

I think she’s been invulnerable for so long she has forgotten how to have emotional attachments. Sacrificing others to achieve goals means nothing to her now.

I think Ruby did get through to her but in her messed up mind that meant hurting herself instead of just showing basic decency.

Yes. They have gone completely off the rails from the book at this point, but yes, Christina was "Caleb" in the book, and unc lived.
