I like the fact that the Tic character is deeply flawed, as are the other major characters. That’s life.

Agreed. Just writing wise it’s episode 6 and he’s one of the main characters. They gotta touch on that more before or else we are gonna be rooting for a guy in episode 10 who committed deplorable acts with just a throw away line as justification.

The styles of this show don't always mesh well and the deep lore and occult shyt, it's like they expect you to know shorthand sometimes - too "X-Files" - but when they do get it right...

For those of you who have read the books what are the odds of this getting a season 2? Or will everything be wrapped up with just 1?

Just finished the book and they can def do a part 2. Misha Green strayed from the book quite a bit as it is so I don't see why not. It'll be up to Jonathan Majors tbh.

I will add the episode about Montrose was completely unnecessary smh.

This show has been at it's best when it slows down.. has less going on..is heavier on dialogue and it's focused on a couple characters and what's going on with them in a specific place and time and their motivations

Totally agree with this. It’s why I enjoyed the last episode so much.
