Jamie Chung's career post Real World is the definition of a glow up.

Great episode. I think all of this is unique to the show, but it seemed to foreshadow some stuff later on... I'm intrigued to see what happens next.

I think her seeing tic die might be a red herring of sorts. I a lot of stories the hero has to “die” to get the real glow up. Especially with the supernatural bent this one has I wouldn’t be surprised if he does end up dying and coming back. It not seeming bloody or particularly violent might be another hint. My guess it’s gonna be that white chick that won’t leave them alone and some experiment he goes through with.

I'll give her that.. it certainly doesn't fit into one specific genre and I think that's why I'm so wtf is going on right now in some of these episodes.. One thing is for sure, I never know what to expect next. That can be good and sometimes bad too.

See I think the one issue is that it is very hard as a creator to be great at so many things. Most showrunners/directors might be great at one genre but not so great when they step outside their comfort zone. Not many creators can pull off being great down every avenue.

This show has been at it's best when it slows down.. has less going on..is heavier on dialogue and it's focused on a couple characters and what's going on with them in a specific place and time and their motivations.
