Great movie.. Kinda sad.. but it ended on some G shyt. I'm down for a solo X-23 movie after this. Not sure if they gonna do it but this shyt was HARD. One of my favorite superhero films because of the story, the lil girl, action, and because I personally think it wrapped up this version of the x-men universe.

I wanna see what the kids do now honestly.

She was the definition of savage.

When Charles said "Doesn't she remind you of someone" I was literally like she is what Wolverine originally was. A cold blooded killer. I like how they portrayed Logan too though. Old, beaten, weaker, hurt, but still SAVAGE when he needed or could be.

He definitely wasn't the Wolverine of old but you could tell that it was still in him. He had some dope solo scenes

But he was definitely a shell of his former self. Squads of people he would normally mop through, he got his ass kicked by some of them. But the kids still looked up to him, homie had a wolverine action figure, they were reading the Xmen comic books, he was very respected even though he felt like it wasn't true and he didn't deserve it.

They even cut his beard when he was sleep to look like Wolverine in the comics:mjlol:

And Charles was the one that killed off the xmen except Logan who could heal. Logan still spared him the grief and never told Charles as he forgot and blamed Logan. Dude was still loyal..

Like I said, shyt was sad

I thought she was gonna go off on Logan a few times

That blank stare like "nikka, I'm about to slice you up too" was straight :demonic:

Only reason she never popped off is because
she knew it was her pops and he could take it or check her.

But anybody else would've been in a casket
Papa Logan had to give her the:ufdup:a few times:mjlol:
STOP PRESSING BUTTONS STAND THERE!!:ufdup::birdman:

I'm surprised she listened to him:mjlol:

But you could tell that she respected him
and knew that he was her pops even though he left her hanging a few times.

He was on Goku levels of being a bad dad until the end.. He literally sacrificed himself for her and her friends :mjcry:

When she held his hand after burying Charles :mjcry:

Dude was the anti-dad foreal but once he saw them in trouble he gave no fukks about that and did everything he could to save them:mjcry:

I wonder if the x-23 is strong enough character to carry a movie. that being said, yeah this movie was sad. especially what happened to that black family.

that said, this movie was fukking AWESOME tho. I took my 7 year old daughter with me, and even she loved it.

it's crazy. hugh's performance as old man logan was incredible. in many ways, it was damn-near perfect (the quotables... :mjcry:). but in some ways laura was the version of wolverine we'd been waiting for all these years for and never got to see. that zero fukks given, god-level goon mode was :wow:.

so do you think that when charles started telling the x-24 what happened back in westchester, he was referring to when he first got the ALS and started seizing out, which could have potentially killed all the students in the school outside of wolverine?

btw, did they use CGI for the x-24????
of course :gucci:

X-24 was literally a Logan clone.. While X-23 was an offspring born from a human mother with Logan DNA.

Like the other X-men born test tube babies. But they had a humanity about themselves

X-24 was a Logan clone, completely unfiltered without a conscious and straight natural, killer instincts. Plus on steroids. He wasn't the real deal either BUT he was fresh and completely an animal.

Also makes me think, Logan had been around for at least a century before the Weapon X program and was dying because of the antimanium poisoning.. X-23 will not have as long of a life as Logan did being she wasn't fully a mutant And because she has the antimanium in her body for a longer time than Logan will eventually... If she lives over a hundred years.

People forget, according to this movie Wolverine had been alive almost 200 years. He was only dying because the antimanium medal was poisoning his body. She's his daughter but shes still a diluted version of what the original Logan was

yeah that's exactly what happened.

Charles thought he was talking to Logan but he was talking to X-24. Charles had remembered what Logan was trying to not let him remember in that Charles Killed off all the X-men because his control of his mind was deteriorating.. Logan was the only one who could've possibly survived because of his healing powers but Charles was basically a living, mental Nuke. Thats why Logan locked him up in a lead-ish cell and was working so hard to get medicine and find a boat to where they can live and Charles wouldn't be close to anyone or anything.

Apparently Charles lost control and killed a bunch of people including all of the X-men a year before... And Logan being so loyal was doing whatever he could to protect Charles because he saw the mental deterioration. Remember, Logan is about a hundred years older than Charles. They knew Logan was still around but they didn't want him because he really wasn't that big of a threat anymore aside from individual stuff. Charles was reported dead but they didn't care about anything but getting the Weapon X kids back alive or dead.
