and I thought it was cool how Charles described why she had claws in her hands AND feet.

They both had 6 claws, but she had 2 in both hands and 1 on both feet. He described it as the female being both a hunter and a nurturer. While Wolverine is strictly offense, she has claws in her front and back to be both offense and defense because in the wild, often times the mother/woman/nurturer has to have both. :wow:

of course :gucci:

X-24 was literally a Logan clone.. While X-23 was an offspring born from a human mother with Logan DNA.

Like the other X-men born test tube babies. But they had a humanity about themselves

X-24 was a Logan clone, completely unfiltered without a conscious and straight natural, killer instincts. Plus on steroids. He wasn't the real deal either BUT he was fresh and completely an animal.

Also makes me think, Logan had been around for at least a century before the Weapon X program and was dying because of the antimanium poisoning.. X-23 will not have as long of a life as Logan did being she wasn't fully a mutant And because she has the antimanium in her body for a longer time than Logan will eventually... If she lives over a hundred years.

People forget, according to this movie Wolverine had been alive almost 200 years. He was only dying because the antimanium medal was poisoning his body. She's his daughter but shes still a diluted version of what the original Logan was

Only her claws have the adamantium. And actually, due to that and her youth, she's actually a stronger version of him in some ways (her healing is faster actually). She'll live as long as him at least, provided she isn't killed some way.

I wonder if the x-23 is strong enough character to carry a movie. that being said, yeah this movie was sad. especially what happened to that black family.

that said, this movie was fukking AWESOME tho. I took my 7 year old daughter with me, and even she loved it.

She definitely is. Especially if they had kept her original backstory the same (one of the only gripes I have with this movie is how they swayed from her real origin). Movie would've really had some gut wrenching moments if they left that unchanged.

I'm wondering how they are going to use X-23 going forward? She's going to need a mentor/guardian. They could put her in Deadpool, but his movies might be too slapstick for her kind of movie. What i would do, is somehow put GAMBIT in her life. And have him become her guardian/mentor.

Logan is the only Comic Book film to date to make me cry. We've followed these characters for so long, I feel so lost about the X-Men Film franchise now (well after Apocalypse, I kind of abandoned all hope). Where do we go from here?
It didnt make me cry or nothing but it was a very SOMBER movie...

Despite the action, funny moments, cool shyt, etc.. It was literally like that Johnny Cash song how the tempo changed throughout it but it was still a deep, sad song.

Thats how this movie was at least to me. You could tell it was pretty much a tragedy type story and despite it being about mutants/superheros, it wasn't over the top. It was very realistic

it almost felt like Logan was dying of cancer while Charles was schizophrenic

Just growing up with both characters it was sad to see this is how they ended

I doubt it but X-23 needs her own movie. If you dont come out of Logan loving the way the character X-23 was portrayed, you got issues.

But her story is not as popular with casual people enough to justify a movie without wolverine imo (Hugh Jackmans Wolverine too).

didn't know that

She still will have the poisoning problem unless something changes somehow in the future though. I'm saying because Logan lived so long before the metal that she might not being so young. But since shes only part metal who knows, she might live slightly longer

Also I don't think she was as strong as Logan in the movie because of the shyt with Charles. When Charles had his seizures she wasn't able to fight it as much as Logan could. Logan was literally the only person that could get to Charles and stop the paralysis that he caused anybody in that area... Mainly because of Logans healing ability. She could move but Logan was the only person that could still fight and go up 14 floors to give Charles the medication needed to stop the seizure.

Just got home from the cinema.

Fukk me.

I remember watching the shytty pre-FX bootleg of Origins that got dude hemmed up by the FBI, and being so disappointed. Then seeing it in the cinema and being even more disappointed.

They've come a long fukking way.

Jackman was damn near flawless. My only complaint was the Logan clone. If they'd bought Liev Schreiber back as a cloned/ mindwiped Sabretooth. it would have been some really dope closure.Could have had him first show up on the farm wearing a parka jacket, then he pulls the hood down to show his face. With the close-up it would have looked like his outfit in the comics with the hood's fur.

The X-Force kids :wow::wow::wow: - I have no idea when the movie is going to be set, but I hope they bring the characters back for it.

Seeing Charles so old was :lupe:. They put the 'Old Man Logan' atrocity on his dementia as well :wow:

The first time Laura calls him 'Daddy' I was :to:, When she put the cross on it's side, it was a wrap :mjcry:

Between this and Deadpool, looks like Fox has found their lane :ehh:

Need that R-Rated Batman next.
