Official Logan (Wolverine 3) Thread

You could tell the writers and directors drew alot of inspiration from the survival game The Last of Us. Theres a lot of parallels between Logan/Laura and Joel/Ellie. Even the storyline and character development seem kind of similar. Although Ellie, was obviously never the natural killer as Laura. The tone of the movie was also very similar to the game.

This wasn't just the best wolverine film. This wasn't just the best X men film.
This is a top 3 comic book film of all time.
This isn't a film for people that need a corny quip every 5 minutes.
This isnt a film for people That think films should be judged on how much fun they have. This isn't a film for bisexual Europeans that cry during age of ultron.
And that isn't to say the film is humorless. The comedy is natural and feels earned. Like a breather between the weight on your chest.
The violence in this is visceral. This is the first time that powers are really shown to what they can do.
The acting is perfect. The story holds weight. The emotions hit and hit hard.
There is 0 punches pulled
Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman give not just their best performances in these characters,but of their careers.
This is the film Hugh deserved.
This is the film WE deserved

Ummm..... I do know that..... but its not about that.....
the BULLS?? Ok answer me this? When in the history of history has Spiderman been dropping bodies like that? Has Ironman been sadistically killing folks? When has Hulk ever just punched a thug on the streets? No breh.... I dont think its about BULLS..... its about being true to the properties. It would be out of character for non killer comic hereos to just become killers on the big screen for the fukk of it.

wolverine and the avengers is like peanut and jelly its suppose to be together
Just imagining Disney making this film is comical.
The fight scenes would suddenly become a goofy comedy and they'd defeat the final villain by having the kids distract him with a game of pictionary.
There's more to film than shoving every character together in it.

Fox needs to make all their films going forward rated r.
Corner this market.
No half measures like Suicide squad and wb in general.
Make adult comic book films.
The audience wants them.
I even read a story about audiences being polled and over 70% want more rated r comic films.
There is limitless potential in here.
Don't be grim dark and edgy. Be ADULT.
Next X men needs to be rated r. Next fantastic four rated r.

Not Fantastic Four easy brotha they need to actually find someone with passion for the characters and comics like Ryan has for Deadpool. FF is science, exploration, cosmic fantasy elements, just stick to like 10-15 issues keep shyt simple. Logan was fukking goat though my goodness
