Care to elaborate?Phoenix’s version is so far seperated from the comics it basically doesn’t count

interesting but Bruce is a kid. Joker could still be a dormant genius and they can write in a decent explanation on how he developed his chemistry skillsThe Joker is a genius and come up with all kinds of schemes and plans. He also has to have some level of chemistry mastery to be able to produce the joker gas.
Phoenix’s joker is a mentally challenged 40 year old, who’s uprising is basically dumb luck. Phoenix’s joker gets washed by Batman in 2 minutes.

But he would have to be the opposite in order to become joker in the first place. No nikka that's out the gate with charisma and swag would just start killing people indiscriminately cause he had one bad day. Joker (in some of his multiple origin stories) got his swag/charisma from becoming the joker. So it makes sense. That’s still gonna be a 60 year old joker dealing with a 25-30 year old Bruce. And on top of being a genius, joker is also charismatic and has swag. Arthur Fleck is the exact opposite of those things.
Great points. Does it state anywhere that he’s in his 40s though? All of those traits can be gained. Just because he was a swaggerless loser doesn’t mean he cannot become a charismatic insane villain. He seemed to become unshackled at the end of the movie. There would need to be a sequel to the Joker to explain the character development before they introduce him into a Batman movie if they were to go that route. That’s still gonna be a 60 year old joker dealing with a 25-30 year old Bruce. Right. I mean Joaquin’s Joker isn’t even a fukkin villain really. The whole movie was commentary on mental health and wealth inequality. Not a comic book movie by any stretch. The performance was Oscar-worthy for sure. Just not a comic accurate one...and that’s fine. The Joker is a genius and come up with all kinds of schemes and plans. Wrong. Some of what you said is true but most everything in this is comic accurate and inspired by arcs in the comics.
#ReleaseTheAyerCut gaining steam lately too
Man he can eat a dikk, Jared Leto's Joker was a b*stardized interpretation
I'd take leto over Phoenix any day
