It's really sad. He wanted to keep it private but knew what would happen if he didn't, that the tabloid Internet writers would create a narrative and everybody would say the film is a disaster and they've replaced him as director because the film sucks and all that shyt. Same way they did with the Ben going into rehab = Ben is stepping down as batman.

I know I saw some headline about stuff being rewitten but I assumed it was in regards to Billy Crudup leaving Flash. Zach has taken a lot of heat over the years I hope fans chill with the bullshyt

I thought the film was done months ago?
It's in post production.
Meaning it's mostly done filming but now is the time they decide if they need to do pick ups (reshoots) editing,effects etc
Post production. And according to the article after he screened it he had some scenes he wanted to add. Joss wrote them and he was going to film them but once he got to the location he just realized it was too much for him

Post production is happening where all ghe effects, maybe added lines, or if they want to change something and I suspect Flashs scene with his father will be taken out completely. Post production takes a while especially for big bidget films.
