You can't make a dinosaur thriller movie and have the majority of it happening at daytime, the original was great also for how much night scenes there were. I came back home thinking it was a disney movie about dinosaurs as a metaphor of falling families and the power of natural bonding between individuals of different race and background, like the dumbo of dinosaurs.

just got done watching da bootleg on my huge 72 inch screen, great movie action and story wise and chris pratt deserves alot of praise just for being him, but some of that dialogue was horrendous, and the final 30 minutes seemed REALLY all over the place. ill say from the scene once da military dude gets thrown in da bushes by da raptor, up til where she asks dude to open the gate and he hits that horrible joke talkin bout "why u gotta get personal???" just alot of stuff this movie coulda done without and some stuff it coulda added but overall it was a GREAT thrill ride i would love to watch again. 8.5/10

You just cheated yourself out of a goat movie experience. Go watch it in IMAX then come back with a review. You basically just watched it for the dialogue.

I remember being disappointed by that film in theaters but some of the set pieces have always stuck with me like the trailer scene and the Raptors in the grass

It's better than the lost world because it has more energy to it. You can tell this director had a passion for what he was doing while Spielberg was admittedly going through the motions
