I'm really tired of the trailer for the trailer phenomenon in hollywood now. I get it, I get the marketing reasons behind it but geez. It's a parody of itself at this point

Well they have to hype it. It's "Jurassic Park 4" or "Avengers 2" or "Star Wars 7" they have to blow it up. But it is funny we are now getting "TRAILERS" for the "TEASERS", lol.

3 > 2 That Spinosaurus :whew:

Nope, "The Lost World" had flaws but not as many flaws as "JP3" which was a mess. That little boy should not have survived that long in there, B.S. Based on that teaser it's clear they are going for the feel of the original movie. I'm sure Spielberg was a watchful eye over this new director who doesn't have a huge resume but they are giving him a shot at this franchise. Again that snippet brought me back to the original film.

I think most of us were breh. I was 6
Breh. The first two - three times I watched that movie as a kid I had to cover my eyes at the part where that little dinosaur spit the ink in Newman's eyes. One time my cousin lied to me and told me that the scene was over when it wasn't. She tricked me. :sadcam:

Nah. Gimme 2 over 3. 3 has some high points but it bores me to death for most of it

:dahell:Stuff was going down in JP3 about 15-20 minutes into it, nothing happens in JP2 until about the hour mark. The third one is also 40 minutes shorter in length, more focused and actually felt like a full-on action-adventure monster flick. Way more entertaining than the second. Jeff Goldblum was also terrible as the lead in 2. He's no Sam Neil.

I was 13 when the original came out and till this day it's one of my all time favorite theater experiences. The Dinosaur's looked so real. Till this day the effects hold up. The whole T-Rex scene was Legendary:

Again, bored me breh. If you like it better that's cool but I prefer Lost World and that may be because I prefer Spielberg's direction to Joe Johnson's. I like Ian Malcolm, I like the sense of wonder that it still has to it, I like the characters more and actually care about them as opposed to 3 where I only cared about one person
