Film room been on life support since this Stan was shyt startedNot that I'm surprised, but reading through this thread, you'd swear this is the only film y'all have seen in your lives with the nonsense y'all be posting.
We've got cats running up in here saying shyt like '10/10, most people won't understand this movie', 'this is the greatest acting performance ever', 'this is a masterpiece, I feel like my mind is in a dark room cause the movie's so dark' etc. This board is a caricature, of a caricature, of a caricature of itself.

Deadline is saying pump all the brakes on this. Says the reports are click bait. Phillips hasn’t met with Warners, no convo regarding a sequel has happened, and while no one is ruling it out as happening one day, it’s not happening right now or in the near future.

I am legit shocked that a sequel is coming mainly because I didn't think Phoenix would be down to do it.
And I'm intrigued by just what property Todd is looking at for an origin story.
If I was King of DC Movie decisions I'd like to see him adapt the 1980s Deadshot origin mini into a movie. That shyt would be amazing.
If not that then go completely away from the grounded stuff and do a full-blown sci-fi Sinestro origin movie.

The Riddler would probably be the easiest to translate into the same style of movie.
He could do like he did with Joker and rip off a couple Scorsese films, a little Aviator here, a little Shuter Island there, maybe a little number 23, some question marks, slap a comic book characters name on it and call it a day.
