Sounds like the D-line has been doing its thing while, surprise surprise, the secondary has been less than desirable. It’s not like we didn’t have any options to improve that side of the field, so I’m puzzled as to why we made no moves there…

Simmons went for…$7.5mil/one year. The Colts currently have $26mil available in cap space. He may have ended up picking Atlanta anyways, but to not even try and go after him, with our secondary troubles, is simply ridiculous.

He believes in Nick Cross, so for his and our sake, I hope he's right. Ballard's job status is solely dependent on Richardson panning out.
I really like Steichen too and it would be a damn shame to see his tenure here go poof if things don’t (finally) shake out for Ballard.
If Nick Cross can "Josh Downs" a few skill players on OTHER teams, maybe we'll be on to something.
In reality, we just have to hope the pass rush is improved.
