have half your season finale be about the most minor character ever, brehs
i get he died in real life, but i doubt he spent more than 3 days on set total in 4 seasons.
it wasn't what i was expecting..but i wasn't bored either, somehow
the simping quinn shyt was though
i agree with a lot of this article
"The scene in which Lockhart, Saul, Quinn, and Carrie are just kind of hanging out at Carrie’s sister’s house is easily the best of the episode, given how awkward and sweet it is. Lockhart brought lasagna! None of these characters can even pretend to function in the real world anymore (something communicated rather well by the fuzzed-out shot of Carrie encountering a playground full of children as if they were aliens). They only have each other."
More "we're both messed up so let's be messed up together" romantic bullshyt to replace the Brody relationship. Wholly unnecessary and adds nothing to the story.
They can care about each other and have a very similar dynamic without the unnecessary romantic relationship.

LOL.... I knew yall was gonna hate this ending... I read the directior's reason for it.
In short... he gave 2 reasons
1- the show is called HOMELAND and he felt they needed to get back to the HOMELAND
and
2- He wanted to do a change of speed, felt its cliche and boring to ALWAYS go out with a bang or a cliffhanger and just wanted it to be more subtle and somber. He also felt there was already alot of action and shyt that took place in prior eps that this was a good point for a softer ep
I hear yall disappointment and disgust.... but after reading his reason I kinda get what he was saying and trynna do too
They coulda done so much more. I have no idea what they were thinking. shyt was straight trash. It kinda ruined a pretty good season. To think I thought this was the first or second best show on tv right now.
They're just back in the US at the start without explaining anything in Pakistan Then this bullshyt with her mom Pakistani Carrie has a 5 sec spot
Yeah that had me I actually thought I was watching a wrongly labeled episode for a moment. Also no Kahn, no Haqqani, no Dennis the menace, no Pakistani Carrie sans a blink or you'll miss it cameo. To make it worse they're not even going to be in Pakistan next season and half of the stuff wasn't even resolved. Even the Dar Adal thing was a let-down with the way they built it up at the end of last weeks episode. Quinn playing happy families and mingling with the fam. Him just getting out of Pakistan like that, despite a hit being placed on him and ISI controlling the Airports The stuff with him and Saul was a complete 180 from previous episodes. Saul was damaged and broken and now he's suddenly out there making power plays. It was like none of the stuff for the previous 11 episodes even happened.
