Episode got save by Quinn's swag.

US Marines, CIA Officers, and Lockhart, all them dudes were looking incompetent as fukk. You'd think that a post like the US Embassy in Pakistan would have a lot more Marines and also protocol on what the fukk to do. Like, how the fukk did they say it was okay just to leave one Marine in the Embassy? Even if it was the Director of the CIA was giving the orders. The Ambassador should have made that call and she should have some kind of protocol in place for shyt like that. Lots of incompetence in that building.

I thought Pakistani Carrie was gonna murk that dude in the car. I was disappointed she didn't. It would have made her character even better. That dude is a waste. Ain't no soft dudes like that in Pakistan ISI in real life.

I hope Quinn goes Solid Snake and kill all of them.

Most of this happened because Carrie messed up so bad its not even funny, if Jay Electronica was still around none of this would fly.

Carrie should have never been in charge. What's worst she had to black mail Lockhart to get the post.

Save Saul but let 50 people die & negotiate with terrorists. :smh:

Even Saul had nothing say and didn't even hit Carrie with disappointed look as he headed to the airport.

I wonder what happens next season, because the President already made her lea

Exactly. I was totally disappointed they didn't go with that. I expected Saul to be angry at Carrie, etc.

And, I don't like that Lockhart gave the list to Haqqani but he couldn't let Fara die so why is it only Fara only more important than other people that died by Haqqani?. They didn't care about other but only Fara :what:

I know it's true to her character, but it seemed to me that the most emotional that Carrie got was when she was told that the President no longer had faith in her to do the job. That's when she really teared up. Not when looking at those bodies are getting told off by Max.

I'm assuming General Kahn will help pull Carrie and Quinn out of many fires in the coming weeks, to justify something other than "Oh, now we're at war with Pakistan? That's problematic."

Nah, no way she'd do that. And he's not ISI, he's a General in the military. They both rep Pakistan, but they are definitely different teams with different goals. The military want's stability and strength (which is why they cooperate wit the US more, they want weapons from us and they don't want those guys in the mountains undermining them), the intelligence agencies want fcukery so that they can stay needed and get resources/power.

ISI and Paki Carrie is prob using/letting the terrorists to do dirt, in exchange for their protection(like the CIA and the cartels). So like in the car scene, Dude had to call for back up after the attack because they are our "Allies" militarily , but he also had to play ball w Paki Carrie and the ISI by waiting.

So the show's transformation into 24: Pakistan is almost complete.

Not that that's necessarily a bad thing :yeshrug:

I still miss the subtlety of the first season and parts of 2.

Oh, and I thought what Lockhart did in this ep was wildly out of character and totally unbelievable.
andy greenwald said someone called Homeland "slow burn 24" or something

and I'm ok with it :jawalrus:

Quinn is the new bauer :banderas:

whatever her long game i hope she has a way to make up the billions in aid they will no longer be receiving.
Maybe her long game is to force the U.S. to retaliate in a huge way on soft targets which will condemn us to the world.

still won't bring the aid back. it's not like the two countries are allies by choice, we bribe them. no longer allies ... no bribe.

Didnt have a problem with Lockhard opening the door :manny:

You standing there watching people get straight executed...a lot of us probably do the same :manny:

What I do have a problem with is the entire US presence pulling out, but leaving two well known, and highly recognizable field agents behind to continue the fight alone. Makes for good TV, but thats some sutter level fukkery....unless I'm seeing it wrong :lupe:

man, I JUST watched this week's episode tonight on an airplane, and it was :ooh:

this show keeps getting better and better this season. and season 4 has been nothing but pure piff as we all know.

that being said, I was :mindblown: when I saw carrie actually handling that AR-15. I didn't know she knew how to handle firearms. let alone assault rifles.

lockart.....he been a G this season, but he really  handing those papers over. he's gonna get all their assets killed

and that sniveling little bytch dennis. that fukking coward doesn't even have the balls to kill himself like he should. that piece of shyt cost like 40 people their lives :dahell:

and worst of all, that a$$hole :pacspit: got baby girl farah killed :cape:

and lets talk about quinn.....dude went straight :violent: in that episode. he saved a lot of lives, but if he thinks he's gonna get a world renoun terrorist on his own, he's crazy. especially being a white man in an arab country.

personally, I have to believe if a situation went down like that and terrorist came in and killed a bunch of cats at one of our embassy's while bombing a convoy all hell would break loose. especially if this were the same day we negotiated with said terrorist and handed over 5 of their people for saul :wtf:

at some point the united states has to quit being a p*ssy and really show some force.

anyways, all that being said, this was another :whew: episode.

killing off brody was the best thing that could have happened. season 4 has been all piff. might be my fav season of them all. it's been THAT good.

I been trying to convince one of my boys who quit on the show that he need to get on this PIFF ASAP.

totally agree. lockhart has NEVER shown any tendancy to act the way he did in the last episode.

btw, I never saw 24 before, so I can't compare the two shows. if 24 is like the season we have been having this year, I might have to fukk with it.
