Shouldve started with them being the big fish and they trying to hide scandals and kids fighting to take over. McMahons/WWE have a shyt load of stories you can pull from.

I like what they did because there aren't many wrestling companies that are successful. I think it's Netflix that got a series about a company that Al Snow works for. I've attended some local shows here in NC. It's hard to stay afloat nowadays. As Jim cornet would say, the territories used to be important in wrestling. I've watched wrestling since before I was in school and I was born in 77. So many different federations growing up and now we only have wwe, tna, roh/aew on tv. There are just too many belts in wrestling today and not enough companies to showcase the talent. I understand what you're saying though so your idea is great and not really wrong. I think the next wrestling show will take your approach though on some Playmakers/NFL shyt

This season was great & this became one of the best dramas on TV, but now we don't get a fulfilling ending.

Depends on the channel/platform it's on, if it's critically acclaimed or not, and how much the show costs
Show A: Low views, critically acclaimed, medium costs
Show B: High views, critically panned, low costs
Show C: Medium views, middling reviews, high costs

HBO would cancel Shows B and C, but keep Show A
A channel like starz would keep Show B, cut Show A and Show C would be up in the air.

A show like Mad Men had lowish views but was getting all kinds of awards and also cost a lot. AMC kept it because that is how much a juggernaut it was with the critics/awards. All the awards with help with ad money, which helps with the cost of the show.
