Yeah, this past episode was one of the best the show has done. The flashbacks added a lot of layers to their current situation and I agree this season has been better than the 1st. Shout out Chris Bauer who has been killing it as Wild Bill since he stepped onto the show. If the show was more popular, he would rightly get some Emmy recognition.

Delivering the new lines that Tom wrote for him in the heaven movie and when he got that phone call from Carol and had to pretend like he didn't have his friend's back all this time

Frank Sabotka might be one of the most underrated actors of his time… he fukking smoked this episode.

This show needs more attention because season 2 is legitimately very good, and it's better than some of the popular dramas that were released this year.

With that said this is one of the most underrated shows out imo. The acting is excellent across the board and the wrestling is really solid.

I agree that it being taken place during territory areas would be more interesting. I think it can still work in modern day because it's possible for a streaming company or others to invest in wrestling. There are some indie promotions and others that had a wealthy person invest in a wrestling company
