I'm still stumped on who I'm picking for JC vs Vera, also not too sure I even want lomachenko to win the title this fast, that shyt got me felling some type of way!

Jr-vera - Jr
salido-lomachenko - salido

i have to err on the side of experience...salido has that in abundance

I feel the same way, but the other side of my head is saying that if Lomachenko is as good as Arum believes he is.....no way he would have put him in with Salido who could end his hype train early. Plus, the 3 best fighters Salido has fought, he's lost to them (Juan Manuel Marquez, Mikey Garcia, and Yuriorkis Gamboa).

If Lomachenko is gonna be an elite fighter, Salido will show it, because nowadays he's almost becoming a "stepping stone" of sorts. If you beat Salido, you're the real deal.......and Loma is supposed to be the real deal:manny:

but then on the flipside salido has ruined a young fighter...salido took juanma's zero and then possibly beat him out of his prime in the rematch.

Oh I agree 100% I just dont like the fact that hes not earning his stripes and gets a major title shot in his second fight. I felt the same way about Rigondeaux but he at least had like10 fights first.

Right.:heh:

That's why I'm thinking, why would Arum say he views him as top 5 p4p RIGHT NOW, after 1 fight, and then put him in the ring with Salido who aint a "soft touch"?:lupe:

Salido will expose you, and unless you're truly elite, you're gonna have a hard time beating him. If you're not elite, expect to be Juan Ma'd:dead:

I'm just betting that TR wouldnt throw a fighter their trying to build up to the wolves so early, and they must know that Loma is the real deal......because this is a tough ass fight for a fighter only in his 2nd professional fight:yeshrug:

I'm riding with TR's matchmaking skills on this fight and that's why I'm choosing Loma.

Chavez Jr
Lomachenko

I thought Vera won the first fight, but Chavez had he been in shape would have won. He had Vera hurt several times and it looked like if Chavez wasn't gassed he should have won convincingly. Vera has heart. Chavez also has been rumored to have his next fight vs Froch, Ward, or GGG. He is worth too much to catch an L.
Salido is a rough and tough customer, but if Lomachenko is the real deal he will win. His punching and footwork looked amazing in his first fight. If his skills are that good, he should only lose if his chin is questionable. Lomachenko for me, but he definitely is an unknown.
