We are currently at stage 3 in the virus's progression, transitioning from the avian phase to the mammalian phase, and now entering the stage of potential human spillover.

@erincandy
I hope people realize we are about to have an H5N1 pandemic. The sequence in BC they dumped the data late last night and it shows it’s picked up the necessary mutation needed to be an efficient human host. It’s highly pathogenic, it’s deadly, and it’s now got what it needs to spread among humans. It’s got the same mutation as 1918 Spanish influenza. Brace yourselves.

2/8
@erincandy
You can pretend all you want like Covid but the 58% mortality rate won’t care.

3/8
@erincandy
The sequence found was the dreaded PB2 E627K. This is what we have been warning about happening

This mutation is the one needed to spread efficiently among 37 C degree human hosts. Game over.

6/8
@erincandy
Oh great it also has antiviral resistance mutation with N329.

We are so fukked.

This is ‼️🚨‼️

@Mark Chadbourn
Oregon has reported its first human case of H5N1 bird flu. Now 55 cases nationwide.

2/2
@Mark Chadbourn
For those asking, the CDC hasn’t released full details about the case beyond the fact that the infected person was linked to a poultry operation where there had been a previous outbreak,

Spanish flu killed at least 50 million.

Bird flu killing in the 100's of millions means a total global reset.

AI assistance in every task would be inevitable.

Man this really feels like a simulation.

Also one good thing is that there is a vaccine for H5N1, so tweaking it for a new strain and getting it out should be easier than it was with covid.

If in the further your yearly flu vaccine covers H5N1 brehs.....crazy shyt...

I guess it’s time to get into an AI bootcamp so we’ll have jobs after the reset 🫠

But for real they’ve been talking about population reduction for a minute. They won’t stamp this shyt out quickly.

Reading through some Bluesky stuff. I don't think we will have a Pandemic at the moment, because it seems that everyone who has been getting sick... has been getting it from contact with other Animals, mostly Cows. Until there is spread from Human to Human, then it be more worrisome, which can still happen but right now everyone that's been getting sick has been getting it from animals.
Unfortunately we are a couple of months away from there. COVID taught us nothing

I have a friend who works with the cdc and even the Biden administration was handcuffing them, with Trump and them in office believe it or not we are right back at 2020

I've already began stocking up on mask, flu medication etc

Winter is coming
