Nope. They went at him on some racial shyt. Whether his movies weren't their cup of tea is one thing, but making fun of his name and some of the stuff was high-key racist, which I will never co-sign. This dude made two blockbuster movies on small budgets. He should always get the benefit of the doubt like they do Jewish directors, who wish they had even close to the type of success he has had.
Unbreakable, Signs, Split, The Sixth Sense, Wayward Pines as a fivesome is better than 85% of Hollywood right now and yet people were trying to clown dude. Now those detractors who tried to end up his career gotta eat crow... GOOD!
