I went on a field trip with my kid and while on the bus played a math game with the classroom. The look and enthusiasm on their faces was something else. 2016 was an anomaly. Hillary was a uniquely hated candidate who lost these states by 10-20K votes in an election where you had Jill Stein grabbing upwards of 150K votes. PA and Michigan are lean Dem states. Where they run into trouble is giving urban votes a reason to turn out.
