People are getting a little too ahead of themselves with Ossoff. He barely got his Senate seat 2 years ago and was carried by Warnock.

All those blue counties will be bluer in 2026. The growth down there is literally driven by diversity and younger people. I’m not saying he will win, but it’s not clear that he will lose either. It depends on what type of Republican he is dealing with in 4 years and that will largely depend on what happens in 2024. If they lose to Biden in 2024, then they will have to rebrand even more to escape trumpism.

My bad, I didn't add enough in the original post. I think he has a strong chance to keep his seat in the Senate if the Dems can hold the Senate in 2024, which will be hard given the number of seats the Dems could lose while the Repubs will only need to pick 2. I was talking about the presidential bid talks. I don't see it for him.

Dude doesn’t have that sort of national appeal. He’s basically Jewish Obama.

2018, 2020, 2022. Trump is destroying the Republican Party and they’re still too afraid to admit it. Nonstop messaging that early voting is bad has convinced republicans not to do it, thus dooming them. It rained in GA today apparently and some Republican people decided not to stand in line. That wouldn’t be a problem if folks voted a week ago.

I just don’t see how republicans win states like MI or PA as long as mail voting is legal/common. And they can’t win the presidency without those two states…

This is my consolation prize if he never does a day in jail.

I’m just surprised a million plus people decided to still show up and vote for Herschel knowing the senate was lost anyway. Georgia still has to take an L for that.

It blew my mind when I saw he got that many votes. I honestly expected Warnock to win comfortably by a few points considering that Walker didn't have any Kemp pull and all those people had to go to the polls SOLELY to vote for one of the WOAT senate candidates we've ever seen.

You think about the fact that Roy Moore's scandals knocked a good 20-25 points off his numbers, but Herschel Walker's scandals (violence and threats of violence, serial infidelity, paying for abortions, lying about police, lying about business, and talking like he has half a brain) knocked what, maybe 2-3 points off his numbers? That feels like the Republican party we have now. It used to be they had 30-35% of the vote baked in regardless, now damn near every conservative is going to vote Republican no matter how stupid/evil the candidate they run is.

it's because trump and walker do not apologize.... they just keep on lying and moving past the issue like it never happened....

romney didn't lose in 2012 because he said 47% of people just want to live off the government... he lost 2012 because he apologized for saying that... he backtracked.... trump would have doubled down on that statement and walker would have denied ever making it, even though it was on tape.... for some odd reason, that strategy works with republican voters...
