The House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer believes there’s no hope for Democrats to win those runoffs. He’s one of the problems
i dont know :yeshrug: we just saw that data that a lotta republicans voted perdue but not trump. and loeffler and perdue did beat their opponents, just didnt get over 50 percent

im just hoping the dems take 1 to keep it 49-51 so mitch cant lose a single vote. because theyd just have to flip 1 seat in 22 and they could push DC statehood and all that shyt

WASHINGTON, DC
Dems about to be washed by the SuperPACs

Top Republican super PACs are making a massive $70 million ad buy in Georgia for the dual Senate runoffs that will decide control of the majority in January.

American Crossroads and Senate Leadership Fund, both of which are run by allies of Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, are combining to spend $70 million on the races starting next week, which will bring their total investment in the runoffs so far to nearly $80 million.

Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Raphael Warnock. Senate Leadership Fund is spending $35 million for the regularly scheduled race between GOP Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff. Both ad buys run through the end of the elections on Jan. 5.

Kamala Harris breaking ties. Republicans need to win one or both races to maintain control of the chamber.

Both parties have plunged massive resources into the runoffs already, but the new spending from the GOP super PACs is by far the largest investment from outside groups. The new ad buys would bring the total spending booked for the races above $200 million, according to data from AdImpact.

"The radical left is pouring money and people into Georgia because they know Perdue and Loeffler are all that stands between America and socialism," said Steven Law, president of Senate Leadership Fund. "We’re going to do everything humanly possible to keep radicals like Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock out of the Senate."

The two super PACs are already on airwaves this week with a $9 million investment backing ads accusing Ossoff of covering up a “trail of dirty money” and calling Warnock a “radical” funded by the “far left.”

Democratic super PACs have also made an initial $5 million investment through two groups, Georgia Honor and The Georgia Way, both of which are aligned with Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, to launch ads attacking Perdue and Loeffler for stock trades made at the outset of the pandemic, and accusing them of downplaying the virus. That initial investment was for just one week of ads.

The campaigns themselves, which get better rates on TV ads, still account for a majority of the spending booked thus far. According to AdImpact, Loeffler has booked nearly $40 million for the race, compared to more than $33 million for Warnock. Ossoff has booked more than $36 million, compared to $28.5 million from Perdue.
