If democrats win today both seats, do they vote for a new senate leader or whats the next step ?

Chuck Schumer becomes Senate Majority Leader on January 20th (Kamala has to be inaugurated first).

Also, those Dems who are Ranking Members become the Chairman/woman. So, Durbin probably chairs Judiciary, Bernie chairs Budget, Sherrod Brown chairs Banking, Leahy chairs Appropriations, etc, etc..

Stacey Abrams putting in work, getting a 250K - 300K lead from EV, and then holding on for a win would just add to her story. She needs to be running that state (or the country for that matter) because if she pulls of GA-POTUS and then two Senate seats, then man...
