EA said current gen release date is oct 31

How could the ps4 drop alongside bf4 next gen in October if the current gen version doesn't come out till the 31st?

I heard October 29th NA / October 31st Europe. no real confirmation on 'next-gen' release though

If the ps4 does drop in October, I'm assuming part of it is to give their first-party title some breathing room before the BF's and COD's etc. drop in November. Then you got the NFS', Watch Dogs, A.Creed, and the onslaught over cross-gen titles dropping as well. One could only hope.

Battlefield 4 will be available October 29 for the Xbox 360® game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and PC. Battlefield 4 will also be available for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.

I think next-gen will be about even for both. Call of Duty still has a bigger audience, but who knows how many are gonna transition into next-gen.

I'll be copping both either way....as well as Killzone, Watchdogs, and DR3
