GRRM just confirmed that valyrian steel is forged with dragon fire. That's how it's made. Well, the Iron Throne was 1,000 different swords that were melted with dragon fire. If they break the Iron Throne back down, that's 1,000 different valyrian swords to fight the White Walkers

Don't see why they'd go to Dorne, Dorne is with them already. Iron islands would take forever by sea, they'd get sussed out by the time they made it to the arbor

Not a good theory IMO

The Iron Throne swords are all melted and meshed together. You cant break it down, it isnt assembled.

Furthermore, why would it be necessary to use the iron throne when you could just use a fresh pile of swords? Its not like swords are hard to come by in Westeros

The zombies (wights) can be killed by fire. The dragons will fukking destroy them. They are only a problem if the dragons arent around.

The White Walkers are the true threat. We dont even know how many there are. There could be thousands for all we know. And fire doesnt kill them.

There is dragonglass on Drangonstone to forge into weapons, but in a straight up fight how many people are there that can wield these weapons effectively before being overtaken by the wights?

Good thing we have Gawdbody Bran to warg a Stark dragon once Daenerys dies, and fend off the wights while trueborn Jon Stark slays the Walkers

I was too lazy to get into it but.... What I meant was that his idea to burn down the chair to get weapons to fight the others is futile because as you mentioned they can just get obsidian weapons and those weapons don't harm the zombies which are the first line before getting to the others.

They need to make some dragonglass arrow heads....give them to the best archers in the Seven Kingdoms....snipe the White Walkers from afar.

Obviously this is too easy so it's not going to happen.

Only reason the dragonglass has worked so far is they were caught off guard

You saw their armor already stop the dragonglass once. I imagine they could upgrade their armor and render it pretty ineffective

Thats why Sam Slayer needs to learn how to make Valyrian Swords ASAP. Cutting through armor like butter
