They rushed last two seasons so they could focus on their next project, a huge 3 movie Star Wars deal.

Then they ended up dropping out from Star Wars after completely fukking up GoT

They deserve it 100%. It's not like star wars wouldnt of been waiting for them after they finished Game of Thrones they ruined their legacy and permanently stained their credibility with that

Stat wars is on extremely shaky ground right now quality wise, the last thing they need is people who rush genre defining projects

I’d like to think the show ended with season 6’s finale

It declined after season 4, season 5 was a clear drop. Season 6 was inconsistent but I still liked it. It had some great episodes and moments.

Ramin Djawadi did a brilliant job adding to the scenes with his music.

It didn’t even have to be 10-12 seasons like George wanted, season 7 with 10 episodes, and an extended season 8 with 12-13 eps to wrap it all up would of been good enough if they focused on it, it could of been solidified as the undisputed GOAT of TV
