Strike One
Outer Mission
Had a 5 episode marathon yesterday and now I am caught up. Dude that helped Arya escape was the shiit...the guy that owed her 3 lives. Does anyone know if he will be back at some point?
Even with her staying, I think Margaery is set to be THE Queen....now she'll have to beg Joff to fukk her![]()
man sometimes sansa seems like she got Stockholm syndrome
make up and the right clothes will do wonders for a person. Watch ya self out there nikkas, don't get caught up with a Sansa looking chick.

arya looks like fukin bozo the clown with all that make-up
It's the truth little nicca...
Aside for the wild fire explosion the episode was wack as fukk...
You don't use 8 episodes to build up a war which ends up being a 20 on 20 siege with one battering ram and one ladder...Then have Tywin show up with another 20 men and that's it...wars over...To make matters worse that was only half the episode, the other half was a drunk Cersi talking bullsh1t...
HBO needs to ease up with these constraints, this show brings in enough subscriptions to warrant a bigger budget...
I know I dont see nikkas complaining about that episode....by far the best battle scene Ive ever seen on a TV show. Fukking epic all around. Best episode of GoT so far hell one of the best Ive seen on any TV show when you consider the scale of the whole thing.
fuk the city, fuk the kings guards and oh yea fuk the king
hbo budget was actually nearly 70 mill
its laugable when you watch something like spartacus with a smaller budget can do for battles than you watch this
one little ass location, one little ass beach horrible sword play disgusting
When has Spartacus ever had a battle on that level?
When they had the battle royal you had what, 10-15 people fighting and a cgi crowd? I remember someone referring to the 1st season of Spartacus as History Channel special fx. :lmao:
Nothing Spartacus has ever attempted even been on that level. In the last season it might have been 20-30 folks fighting in front of a green screen nikka. Matter of fact, when are they not in front of a green screen?
GoT location shoots:
Principal photography for the first season was scheduled to begin on July 26, 2010.[2] The primary location was the Paint Hall Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland.[22] Exterior scenes in Northern Ireland were filmed at Sandy Brae in the Mourne Mountains (standing in for Vaes Dothrak), Castle Ward (Winterfell), Saintfield Estates (the Winterfell godswood), Tollymore Forest (outdoor scenes), Cairncastle (the execution site), the Magheramorne quarry (Castle Black) and at Shane's Castle (the tourney grounds).[23] Doune Castle in Stirling, Scotland, was also used for exterior scenes at Winterfell.[24]
The first season's Southern scenes were filmed in Malta, a change in location from the sets in Morocco used for the pilot episode.[2] The city of Mdina was used for scenes in King's Landing, and filming also took place at Fort Manoel (representing the Sept of Baelor), at the Azure Window on the island of Gozo (the Dothraki wedding site), and at San Anton Palace, Fort Ricasoli, Fort St Angelo and St. Dominic monastery (all used for scenes in the Red Keep).[23]
For the second season, shooting of the Southern scenes shifted from Malta to Croatia, where the city of Dubrovnik and its walls allowed exterior shots of a seaside walled medieval city. Dubrovnik and Fort Lovrijenac were used for scenes in King's Landing and the Red Keep, and the island of Lokrum as well as the Dubac quarry for scenes in Qarth. Scenes set north of the Wall, in the Frostfangs and at the Fist of the First Men, were filmed in Iceland in November 2011, on the Svínafellsjökull glacier and near Smyrlabjörg and Vík on Höfðabrekkuheiði.[23]

did you watch spartacus or rome?
I love Spartacus but there is no way you can compare the two. Spartacus CGI looks campy and cheap and that's not a knock against Spartacus, it's actually what makes Spartacus what it is...but to actually try to compare the two is just...laughable.
And there has been no battle on Spartacus as big as this one. I mean Spartacus posse is only like 30 deep ...even when Gaius comes they fought at a friggin' house so please don't try the location angle
And the sword play angle, really? Who compares a common soldiers fighting technique to a fukking gladiator?
