You know all this talk about Sansa leaving King's Landing with the Hound would have been squashed if the show didn't write out how Ser Dontos offered to help her escape. When the Hound visits her then, she knows she has Dontos to fall back on.

Who's Ser Dontos? Did they write him out completely or just his offer?

Yeah I knew there was something missing, thought Dontos was the third book for some reason.

Wrote him out completely really, although iirc he appeared in the first series for a few seconds. He was supposed to help Sansa escape King's Landing.

Remember that drunken Knight that came on stage during Joffrey's games on his birthday?

He ordered dude to drink a whole vase of wine to death but Sansa begged for mercy and so Joffrey let him go. In the books after that incident Sansa gets a note to meet him. He promises to smuggle her out of King's Landing for saving his life.

When the Hound offers her help she's too scared to go and prefers to wait for Dontos' help.

I was thinking that Sansa ended up bouncing with the Hound...setting up Anne Boleyn Margaery Tyrell to take her place as Joffrey's queen-to-be...solidifying the lannister/tyrell alliance as a payment for helping save kings landing
