She should've left, breh. The hound won't hurt her, she knows this, we know this. And the hound is def capable of bringing her north. There's no guarantees regardless of path, but that was a perfect chance to leave. Plus, if she makes it Winterfell (or just Robb's camp) then her family has the upper hand with Jamie (as you said they still think Robb has him) and she can let them know the Lannisters don't have Arya (which the Starks think).

If caught, she's punished, but not killed or anything....they love Jamie too much for that, you know this.

The Hound just deserted his post as a member of the Kingsguard, in the middle of a war. There's a price on his head. I don't know if you remember Tywin talking about the Brotherhood Without Banners causing trouble around Harrenhall, but if they cross paths with the Hound they won't treat him nicely. You'll find out more about them next season. Plus there's still a war going on in Westeros. Gregor Clegane's gang is going around burning shyt and killing people as well as the Brotherhood. Anyone fighting against the Lannister cause is going to attack the Hound on sight. Arya has barely been safe thus far and she's a fighter, what makes you think Sansa is up for the trek to Robb's camp or Winterfell?

Plus as far as she knew at the time, Stannis was about to take King's Landing. Better to stay put and use her highborn status to get her sent home than too try to escape in the middle of a war and take a stray arrow to the dome. Sansa is not rugged, she's not a fighter. Her strength is Arya's weakness: she's well mannered and knows how to be highborn.

It seems like only yesterday we were awaiting the first ever footage of Game of Thrones season 2. *The months have flown by thanks in part to the amazing work done on HBO’s hit fantasy series. *Last night’s episode, Blackwater was the climax of the season while next week’s episode will try to wrap some things up before the long winter before season 3 drops again next April. *Lucky, the final episode, which is titled “Valar Morghulis” and will actually run an extra ten minutes longer than usual clocking in at 64 minutes! (episodes are normally 54-55 minutes in length) *Check out the official HBO Schedule to confirm for yourself.
Most DVRs will pick this up and record with the extra time but for your own sanity please do not forget to either watch live or record ten extra minutes on Sunday night!
Final Episode of Season 2 will run 10 Extra Minutes

I heard somewhere else it was 70 minutes

Thats right too. Veep will start at 10:10 so that is 70 minutes. But just like every other Sunday when Veep starts at 10, that doesn't mean every ep of GoT is 60 minutes.

Lena Headey deserves an emmy for that episode. that final scene with her son and Stannis screaming as his men flee and Tywin comes in to the save the day and they cut to the credits w/ the Lannister Song playing was so :ahh:.

This is what I'm saying.....Sansa isn't built like that and she knows it. She made a good move especially when you consider that everyone was expecting Stannis to win. The Hound been looking at her like a piece of meat for a season and a half now.

You really summed up the difference between her and Arya nicely....they haven't actually had much interaction in the series, but the most important one they had was when she lied about what happened between Joffrey and Arya's friend. Sansa is arguably the only one in her family that can actually play the game....:jawalrus:

Dude, I am about to be on some deep withdrawal. I didn't find out about this show really until like 2 months ago....I blew through the first season in like 3 days, than caught up with season 2 on like the second episode and have been following ever since. I just been riding high, eating well offa this and it's all ending soon. Winter is coming.....:to::sadbron:

*Scratches neck and chest*
*Steals from mother*
*Gets on methadone*....:wtf:

I'm really starting to question my decision to delve into wiki spoilers...I knew what was gonna happen last night and it did probably take away from it. Seems like most of y'all were on the edge of your seats, questioning who would get the W. I on the other hand was just waiting for Tyrion Da Gawd to put it on his BACK and carry his squad to victory. Obviously people who read the books are in the same boat, but at least y'all had the enjoyment of reading, I cliff noted a good percentage of the lore..... :why:

I'll give you that she ain't built for the road, but she'd just have to endure that to get back with her folks.

The hound wasn't hurting her...if he wanted her, he would've raped her in her bedroom. He was gonna ride for her. And who would they run into between King's Landing and Robb's camp that wasn't Team Stark? Team Stark is gonna see he's guiding Sansa and lead them back to camp.

Stannis looked like he was winning, but there was no guarantee he'd show mercy on her....and, of course, there was no guarantee he'd win....should've took her out when she had the chance.

You know all this talk about Sansa leaving King's Landing with the Hound would have been squashed if the show didn't write out how Ser Dontos offered to help her escape. When the Hound visits her then, she knows she has Dontos to fall back on.
