One thing I didn't expect to surprise me is the L that Davos took. It was fukked up in the book but it was even more fukked up in the show.

I remember him smashing enemy ships when he was coming up the coast before he and his crew got taken out but the show just have him and his son get blown up in the front lines :to:

I wasn't liking Stannis this season (I like him less in the books) but I like how the show gave him a more action packed role, the first to climbing that ladder and started murking nikkas solo. :krs:

I don't know why everyone is calling The Hound a bytch. He got his face charbroiled as a child by his own brother and that's bound to leave some massive trauma and phobia of fire. Yall nikkas already forgot how he was up front cleaving nikkas in two? :dwillhuh:

Cersei is obviously an evil c*nt...but I do emphasize with her plight a bit. She obviously hates the place that women have in that world. Her story about being treated differently than Jamie even though they were exactly alike...does resonate with me. I'd like them to explore this aspect of her character more, this animosity towards patriarchal culture and how it's made her character the way it is.

Just weeks ago I was still sort of viewing the world from my own, progressive lens....I'm starting to view the world more and more how it actually is....a Game of Thrones. You win or you fukking die. Not willing to do what is necessary to win, than don't fukking play.

The Hound has been emphasizing this. Ned Starks was a killer just like everyone else. Hell, the first thing we see him do in the series is off some dude for "deserting" the Blacks. All these dudes are killers, and like Cersei said, he played the game just like everyone else, he had the chance to take the crown himself, but called it for Robert instead (Book readers, please explain this more for me, I'm unsure of why he would do this). I'm still riding with Robb and of course young Arya....but I'm not shedding tears for anyone.

You're absolutely right. Ned didn't want the Throne and said that Robert's cause was righteous. That's why he didn't take the throne for himself and told Jaime to step off so his homie could get it. Ned was also unhappy with the Lannister marriage to Baratheon. He should have claimed the throne to prevent all of the mess that's happening now.

I feel like Cersei thinks she belongs on the battlefield like Jaime. Maybe that's why she's a bitter bytch. This goes back to season 1 when she gets slapped by Robert after saying that he's the one that belongs in a skirt and herself in armor.

Its obvious the wildfire will wreck Stannis's squad.

:ooh:

But seriously I love reading books and series, but I don't even want to read Ice & Fire. I want to experience all the plots and spoilers through the show..

.but I ain't tryin to wait 5 years man :sadbron:

And Stannis was never the dude who was gonna bring Lightbringer to save Westeros from the White Walkers. Whoever that is probably won't be made known
till much later in the series, that nikka was just hiding behind a demonic witch

I think I understand the perspective that Martin has wrote these books in.

Man, that kid who plays Joffrey has really made me hate that character.

The way Tyrion and I guess Bronn planned that wildfire attack was some dope shyt.

Ned was the best character and the way he was off makes it hard to get attached to anyone with high standards in this series.

So Stannis lost, but did he die? I couldn't follow the action.

Who was it that came in while Cersei was about to commit that? Her dad?

Was that Cersei's other son that she was going to poison? Who is that little boys father?

All of her kids are products of incest with Tyron

Naw, he was trying to get back in and rally his troops up. Two, men pulled him away from going further into the attack. I was screaming madly for his men to continue fighting and not flea.

Who was it that came in while Cersei was about to commit that? Her dad?
It was her daddy at the end and Ser Llroys(spelling) before him in Renly armor.

Was that Cersei's other son that she was going to poison? Who is that little boys father?
All her children biological father is Jamie.
