Doesnt seem like u understand character development too well. She’s basically becoming thirsty for the throne. And she has shown progressively that she doesnt like her authority to be questioned the further the show has gone on. Shorty at this point. Is desperate. Everything she been working towards. Is bout to be taken by someone who is more rightful and more loved naturally than she EVER was. Jon has turned all kinds of enemies into friends. The PEOPLE want Jon. It’s a classic case of jealousy, envy, and greed. Shorty started to believe her own hype. Now she’s willing to do anything necessary to keep that power. Jon has always been the most honorable person on the entire show so I dont even know why this is even an argument. Regardless. It’s not shyt writing.
She wasn't thirsty for the throne in season 1? Who likes their authority being questioned? I sat here and got criticized for defending Sansa when she dared to disagree with Jon a couple seasons ago. Who are these lords, let alone Kings/Queens that like their authority questioned? Me saying that is ignoring the fact that the majority of the time she has her authority questioned, she ends up taking the advice she's given. If Dany was desperate, she'd have just flown directly to King's Landing when she had three fukking dragons and no one expecting her to show up.
She keeps taking Ls defending ingrates yet her anger at said Ls is being written off as illogical and manic. The shyt makes no sense. Guess what, Aegon Targaryen has never received the type of love that Dany has throughout this series. The PEOPLE don't give a fukk about the Iron Throne. You just based that love on a reaction in episodes based in the North where nikkas had already crowned him. Outside of the North, no one gives a solitary fukk about Aegon. Dany already was able to get Dorne, Highgarden, the North, and a portion of the Iron Islands allied to her based on her own merits. Who did Aegon ever sway to his side outside of the North without bending the knee? Jon turned the wildlings into friends. That's it. They were trying to get the hell out of dodge because that was the difference between life or death. Who are these other enemies he turned into friends? You forgot he was murdered by his own men?
I don't think the writing has been horrible outside of this forced narrative about Dany. How Varys is still alive with the treason he was spouting makes no sense. Tyrion better rat dude out or he deserves to die as well. Varys has been turned into nothing but a vehicle to push this flawed beef between Dany and Aegon. His character has been effectively ruined. Watching two dudes who know exactly what dragons are used for in warfare, clutch their pearls over dragons being used in warfare is ridiculous. Seeing them claim the chick they allied themselves with for being the same fukking person she has been since they linked up with her, is somehow unfit to rule for being the same fukking person is retarded.
The sad thing is, I don't think this is leading up to the "Mad Queen" narrative that cats are thirsty for. I think it's a swerve, and if it is they'll have done a ton of damage to what they've built.
