I hate to say it... but time is not on GRRM’s side when it comes to finishing the books. Dude is 70, and it takes him a long fukking time to finish each book. I hope he gets to finish his story

She kidnapped Misandei as a bargaining chip?

Jon doesn't want the throne so why can't he keep his ancestry a secret? You tell people who tell more people and now they all want you to be king

If Brienne isn't gonna grab her armor and sword and head to battle why did they keep her alive? Not feeling her and Jamie's love scene.

Feels to me like Greyworm is just there. He's not killing Cersei or the Mountain so there isn't really anything left to complete his character arc.

We're coasting on character investment, fan service and curiosity of how they end this now

And I'm still gonna finish off the show. As unimpressive as the season has been I'm still going to enjoy it the best I can. There's a bunch of shows that can't get the last season right and I enjoyed those the best I could. I've sat through worse.

Olenna was right. Dany should’ve been a dragon the moment she landed in Westeros. All her L’s have been because of the advice of Lannister Hand.

Sansa, Arya, and Jon have lost much more than Dany, yet have not used that as a point to go around conquering and burning down cities.

Dany has been a power tripping flip flopper ever since she got a taste of power. She got off on "freeing" the enslaved so they would feel indebted to her and those who didn't were reprimanded.
She executed a former slave for murdering a suspected master in front of a city, and then immediately went on to take all of those masters hostage and burn one wit her dragons to scare them for information.
When the slaves dont bow and grovel to her she resorts to handling them just like the slavers and people justify it by "well the slaves dont know how to follow rules so she has to teach them how to be civil people through violence", despite the fact that she has no idea what she's doing and the only way she has is violence.
She goes on and on about being the queen and how her father was murdered, yet murders others' fathers for not bowing to her.


She's been on a path upward based solely on manipulation and fear of the mystical, and has finally run into people who dont give a fukk about that and actually want someone they can stand behind.
And she can't handle that.

because they never had anywhere close to Dany power.

if Dany was crazy, she would've flown to Red Keep and burned Cersei alive in season 7.

and Arya came back to Westeros and cooked all of Welder Fray's sons into meat pies Dany has been patient as shyt

They written themselves into a corner and they are trying to wrap everything so there must be convenient plot holes to make shyt happen.

It’s series ruining level bad writing. It’s up there with the Jacob episode of lost near the end that was so bad it turned the entire series into a joke. I can’t believe what I just watched

Because he's consistently demonstrated his intention to degrade #targsets greatest strengths or is the writing just THAT fukking terrible now

its hard to tell where the bad writing stops and the poor decisions begin

Tyrion's actions are indicative of a double agent I mean why do you think Cersei didn't kill him right there?? That's after supposedly she sent a hitman to kill both of them. With Tyrion being alive right in front of her, why didn't she just let off the arrows on him???
