its hard to tell where the bad writing stops and the poor decisions begin

It's just bad writing because Danny is OP with her dragons and she is right in her convictions.

Tyrion really serves no purpose other than being Devil's advocate and make her do dumb shyt.

The Night King arc really was just there to weaken her.

The ambush was to weaken her.

So now we can realistically expect her to struggle.

It's classic anime depowering.

This was the worst part of the episode for me. the shyt made no sense whatsoever. Like you not even gonna have Jon say goodbye?......it goes against everything we know Jon to be. Why even include this scene in the episode at all?.....just to make jon look like a dikk??.......that scene was just weird as fukk. No other way around it.

IDK man. Thats probably the worst thing Ive ever heard a director say. Like if you write a plot with the intention of making a character ignore the most prevalent blockade for their progression...I just dont know. Like that shook my expectations going forward

This is dumb logic. No one could stop him solo but she is the single most powerful person in the show. That comment applies to her the least of everyone.

True. Dany has sacrificed so much. Too much for folks to just cast her to the side, just because she has the "potential" to be the "Mad Queen". There's already a mad queen sitting the iron throne and Westeros has seen many a mad King and queen. If all of Dany's naysayers are pro-"Burn The Throne" and "Break The Wheel" than I can see their point of view. But if they want someone else to sit the iron throne besides Dany, because they think it'll be better for the realm, than they're in for a rude awakening.

I enjoyed the episode overall, the angle for Dany to turn crazy has been bubbling for a while and losing her son and Misseande will be the end of it. You saw her at dinner, she had no one there..she looked around and felt like an outsider. Just like everyone, I wasn't a fan of Rhaegel dying so quick and out of nowhere, Dany's side strategy has been the WOAT. The death was brutal though, rip little dragon

I still don’t understand Sansa’s Issue. Jon is warden of the north most likely he’ll end up spending his time in kings landing with Dany . She’ll basically be ruling the north as lady of winterfell.

Never thought I’d see the day where D&Ds shytty writing would lead me to defend Daenerys. They’ve ruined so many character arcs this season. I’m ready for Dany to BURN THEM ALL

Sansa, Arya, and Jon have lost much more than Dany, yet have not used that as a point to go around conquering and burning down cities.

Dany has been a power tripping flip flopper ever since she got a taste of power. She got off on "freeing" the enslaved so they would feel indebted to her and those who didn't were reprimanded.
She executed a former slave for murdering a suspected master in front of a city, and then immediately went on to take all of those masters hostage and burn one wit her dragons to scare them for information.
When the slaves dont bow and grovel to her she resorts to handling them just like the slavers and people justify it by "well the slaves dont know how to follow rules so she has to teach them how to be civil people through violence", despite the fact that she has no idea what she's doing and the only way she has is violence.
She goes on and on about being the queen and how her father was murdered, yet murders others' fathers for not bowing to her.


She's been on a path upward based solely on manipulation and fear of the mystical, and has finally run into people who dont give a fukk about that and actually want someone they can stand behind.
And she can't handle that.
