Bran sorted the Littlefinger stuff off screen according to Isaac Hempstead, she was struggling with Arya then and how hard she was coming at her. They are off course tryong to show how she has grown and now knows politics but it seems stuff works in her favor mostly due to events we don't get to see.

Plot devices. Sansa being able to do anything or have the influence she does is straight plot armor.

In this episode alone...

- The “breaker of chains” basically demanded Jon deny his ancestry and live a life of servitude in order for her to maintain power.
- Damn-near had a nervous breakdown watching the soldiers salute Jon.
- Ignored Sansa’s very prudent advice to let the fighters (AND HER fukkING DRAGON) recuperate before attacking Westeros. Nope. Dany wanted her throne and she wanted it now, like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
- After getting her ass kicked and another “child” killed, ignored her advisors and let it be known she was gonna burn the city alive, even though IT WAS HER FAULT RHAEGAL GOT KILLED.

I repeat: her baby got killed because Dany flew a recovering dragon directly to the front lines, even though she’d seen that Cersei had anti-dragon weapons when she sacked the loot train.

How about you take a page from NK’s playbook and keep your best weapon above the fray until they’re needed??

Exactly. I’ve loathe Dany for multiple seasons now. At least Cercei knows she’s an evil twat. Dany is delusional & thinks that she is invincible.

The under-utilization of Bran is just comical at this point. Tywin/Robb used scouts to get info on their enemy's movements, the wildlings used wargs to do their scouting. These nikkas sitting on a breh who can see everything that is happening and has happened yet couldn't be bothered to ask him what Cersei was up to before just marching south blindly.

My last hope is that they're buffing the dragons somehow, and that's what the end of the preview is entailing with Euron being shocked.

It’s VERY clear now... It’s not Jon, not Dany, not Cersei... It will be Sansa in the end. She and Arya have already put a plan in play. Remember what Arya said about her being the smartest person a couple episodes ago. She learned the game directly from Little Finger so she’s going to actually end up fulfilling what he wanted for himself.

Sansa, Arya, and Varys are the ONLY people thinking logically and without emotion. This show has shown repeatedly that once emotion (anger, love, etc) come in to play the character is doomed.

Interestingly enough, I 100% share your perspective here about winning the throne from possessing the ability to act within logic and without emotion as the reason why it will actually be Bran who takes the throne in the end.

It'll be interesting to either way to see who gets there in the end though.

that pleading scene was nice but after him getting talked down to Dany twice because of Cersei, and then him talking down to Jaime "because he loved Cersei"...Tyrion's intelligence level might be the lowest out of anyone in his crew
