Skip is a master at what he does. It's how he has his own show on FS1 gets paid well and gets to control everything. I'm not gonna speak to his actual beliefs but I'm convinced the character he plays he's always going to irrationally argue the same points. How much of his character is stuff he actually thinks and how much of it is simply created to be a troll is anybody's guess but he almost never backs down on any take once he makes it.
Baker Mayfield is just one hit away. If Tim Tebow even today got another shot he'd still be a great QB.
