Skip been trolling for decades nowShannon apologizing had nothing to do with being forced into apologizing. He clearly realized he looked like a fool at the Lakers game. I saw it coming once I realized he wasn't tweeting about the NFL games that weekend as much as he normally would.
On a different note, for the brehs who actually watch the show, what is y'all biggest grievance with Skip? Personally, I'm over his shtick about NBA free throw percentage. He's really been pushing this "if you don't shoot 85% from the free line, you're a terrible free throw shooter" narrative for a couple of years now.

Shannon made a smart business decision. I think he just realized that Skip doesn't have friends and the most they can be is good co-workers. It's Skip's show, everyone in the building knows that. Shannon didn't see a need to blow it up and mess up his bag if it can be fixed (and Shannon's still under contract for a couple years).
With the Lakers dust up I respect that Shannon can own his actions in the situation.

Skip is a fool. His arguments are out here like T-1000 taking the shape of whatever is needed. Mahomes could have thrown for 5000 in one game and he would say it's all Reid and Kelce and Burrow is better.

It’s one of those things that you can’t take seriously.
He won’t be consistent with his arguments. With Brady, it’s only about winning chips. Didn’t matter how, only that he won.
He’s attached himself to Burrow now, so even if Pat wins two or three more and Burrow wins only 1, he will ride with Burrow because he “plays the position better” and is the closest to Brady of the young QB’s.
This is entertainment. People playing characters in front of a camera. Half these people on these debate shows probably don't even believe their takes. You can't go on a debate show and agree with everything everyone says and be logical always. There would be no show if it's just people co-signing the logical point.

I think there's a grand canyon sized gulf between being logical and what Skip does. I'm not asking him to agree with Shannon but it's clear he has his agendas and then fits the argument to the agenda.

I ain't gone lie I bust out laughing when he brought up Lebron's tweet saying he disagreed with the holding call. He leads it off saying "we all know Lebron's a great sports fan, great mind, highest IQ in basketball and really really knows the game of football."
