Skip actually saved Sharpe’s media career. He went from being on the CBS pre and post game to nothing. Skip elevated Sharpe by requesting him for his show. Which is why Sharpe put up with a lot of “bull jive” over the years.


But, Sharpe has built is own brand. He didn’t just sit idle and be content. He’s on the same level now. Which has empowered him to not bite his tongue anymore. Skip took him for granted.
