Yeah but he fought 85 year old randy couture. In not mad at floyd. shyt id want to see conor get koed. That is what would happen in a boxing match. Id say floyd t/ko in the 9th after hes done toying with him.

But to be fair if they do this why not set up a boxing match and an mma fight. Or better yet, why not meet in the middle and make this a kick boxing match

:ohhh:

Also just strip conor of that fw belt and have frankie an jose fight fir the real belt. This too much of a circus now.

Randy Couture stated fighting late in his life and he had less wear and tear on his body.

James Tony was 160 pounds in his prime not a heavyweight, he was old fat and punched drunk when he fought Randy lol

Floyd is almost 40 and Mcgregor isn't even 30, and he has an amateur boxing background as the national champ in Ireland, so he can box.

Floyd doesn't have an amateur background in kick boxing or mma, so those fights wouldn't make any sense.

Yea but floyd would still be favored against any one. He is still the best fighter on the planet. Him at 40 is no where close to couture at 47.

This whole thing dont make sense breh. Its all about the money. McGregor has never fought profesionally. Floyd has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft in boxing. Why not meet in the middle at a kick boxing match. Thats the most fair imo. I would probably still favor floyd too.

Why would Boxing fans need to defend it?:jbhmm:

UFC heads around the globe claimed McGregor and Rousey could see Floyd...so don't get scared now that Floyd has his sights set on embarrassing the UFC's cash cow:ahh:

So Floyd(who has enough money and doesn't gain anything really from this) is entertaining this bullshyt. I'm not concerned or worried the least btw. I know Floyd would beat the brakes off Connor. But all this does is help Dana/UFC

Stop talking. Listen. You obviously don't understand sports. So what if Floyd would be the favorite. What's the difference between a boxer into an MMA match or an MMA fighter enter a boxing ring. One fighter is going to be at a disadvantage right, but MMA fighters have to train boxing anyway as apart of MMA. Boxers don't have to train grappling. So it's more of an even match right.

randy couture was still competitive in the UFC, his fight after James Toney was against Machida lol, if he would've won he would've had a title shot.

James Toney couldn't even make money in boxing anymore. Which is why he did the match in the first place, and he didn't even train. Look at his physique and look at randy who was probably on riods or TRT and you can see who is in better shape.

Conor Mcgregor has experience boxing. Floyd has no experience kick boxing. They are two different sports with different rules it's not boxing with kicks like the name would imply. When MMA fighters go to kick boxing and vice versa, nobody says it's not fair for the kick boxer to fight an MMA fighter, or it's not fair for an MMA fighter to compete in kickboxer. Overeem has defeated some of the biggest names in kick boxing and MMA.

Floyd Mayweather is the bigger name he's not broke, he's the A side, if Conor wants to make the most money he will ever make, he will box floyd lol, it's just that simple.

The situation is not comparable to James Toney who was 160 in his prime or the fact Ray Mercer was 50 years old when he went he fought former UFC champion Tim Sylvia in an MMA match.

Plenty of boxers have got in the cage already and didn't get a boxing match as a straw match, so that argument is just dumb.

Bruh, Floyd barely talks about the UFC unless someone asks him:what:

Casuals and people like McGregor and Rousey been on his dikk for years trying to coatride his name to fame.

Now that Floyd might take one of them up on the offer (after getting exposed in their own sports) now hes embarrassing boxing:what:

And im thinking he is doing this to start his own promotion. Hes gonna make UFC and its affiliates so much money off one fight they gonna want connections to other shyt.

I know exactly what his plan is and im not mad at that. I dont support shyt but dude is trying to build that brand and have a foot in both MMA and Boxing... And fast

It buries the rest of sport that the best P4P boxer would rather give an MMA guy the rub instead of fighting some young lions he rather involve himself in a gimmick fight.

It be like Jon Jones ssaying all you ufc guys aren't on my level let me call up andre berto for an mma fight

Fair point.

:ehh:

All im trying to get at is this most likely gonna be the most lopsided fight in boxing history. We all know the outcome is gonna be either two things. A floyd t/ko or a floyd UD.

If we really gonna see mayweather for one last time, it should be in a good fight. Pac, nelo, garcia, thurman, broner. Mayweather probably washes them to. But itd be more entertaining. And a broner may press would probably be even better then a may conor press

I think Mayweather A+ fights past 10 years were vs Canelo, Gatti and Chico I dont see anyone beating him those nights. I think Floyd should've got Manny outta there he played it a little too cautious I give him a B for that fight 5 years earlier i think it's a wipeout. Honorable mention to the destruction of Shane as well he got hit flush with 3 big right hands stood his ground and pretty much toyed with him aanother A+ performance
