I said Canelo was drained though:sas1:

He was drained.....but I can't blame Floyd for that, because at the end of the day Canelo didn't have to accept the terms. He did, thinking he could still beat Floyd, and Floyd gave him a pure Boxing clinic:wow:

Crazy though, because the WAY Floyd beat him...it wouldn't have mattered what weight, 152 or 154, Floyd would've blanked him regardless. Canelo wasn't skilled enough to fukk with Floyd bottomline. Great W for Floyd:obama:
you know your shyt, so i dont mind the back and fourth with you:yeshrug:
but i'm not arguing with casuals
personally, i don't think canelo was drained for the fight so we'll agree to disagree on that aspect
was he 100 percent comfortable at the weight?
probably not, but when i think of the word "drained" i think of oscar de la hoya going back down to 147 for the first time in 10 years in his late 30s. pacquaio actually outweighed him on fight night.

canelo is a young man who lose 2 pounds and still had a 15-20 pound weight advantage a and like u already said, based on how the fight went, he woulda lost either way

his fight vs khan, (atleast the first 3-4 rounds) is further proof that he wasn't that effected by the weigh that night, because he chose the155, and he was looking slow, tired, and confused by khan's boxing for the first couple rounds. floyd could of keep that shyt up all night

Great boxer....

But he runs for too many rounds and really doesnt engage as much as I'd like to see ..

Keep it real .. That Pacquioa Mayweather fight was exciting to you?:comeon:

Floyd impressed me in that fight...he effectively neutralized the guy yall thought could actually compete with him.

I was extremely impressed with Floyd

No cuz they ducked him.

When, Paul Willams even said Floyd didn't duck him, he had bigger fish to fry with bigger names

Paul Williams didn't have a big enough name to get a fight with floyd

also he would lose easily, paul has no defense and doesn't even fight tall

He couldn't even beat lara everybody knows that was a robbery

he was schedule to fight Canelo next, if he would've won that fight, Floyd would've fought him instead of Canelo for the 154 belt

He wasn't so drained. Floyd conceded going up 5 to Carlos coming down 2 so Charlie was still plus 3.

He was drained.

You would have to go back 3 years prior, to the Floyd fight, and 11 actual fights prior to the Floyd fight, to see Canelo fighting underneath 154. He also hasn't weighed in that low in the 3 years since fighting Floyd either...which is why he fights at 155.

Breh...Floyd beats Canelo at any weight imo. He was drained to me, because the reasons I put a couple posts above (hadn't fought that low in 3 years and hasnt fought that low in the 3 years since), but drained or not...the way Floyd beat him had nothing to do with power/stamina/endurance imo. It was just pure outskilling him.

I think his perfomances against Corrales, Gatti, Canelo, Pacquiao, and JMM are his best 5 of his career. None of them could do anything with him....and that's a great list of opps:wow:

Victor Ortiz came off beating a then undefeated Andre Berto (not sure), VO held a belt, Robert Guerrero and Berto ehh but with Berto he put some money in a black man's pocket. You must have just starting watching Mayweather fights from 2010 and later. He beat Corrales who was bigger and undefeated, beat Hatton who was undefeated, Arturo Gatti who was undefeated and bigger, etc. He beat JMM without controversy unlike someone else. Mayweather was ducked by DLH and Mosley while in their primes and finally fought Mayweather after no bigger fights could be made without him.

FM is in lose/lose with critics like yourself because lets say Khan, undeserving of that fight, would have got the fight, it would likely been a KO for Mayweather and critics would say he had no business fighting him. The only recent fighters that weren't scared to bring the fight to Floyd were Cotto and Maidana which made for good entertainment. Khan was going run and throw weak flurries just to get caught and knocked out on his inevitable defensive lapse.
To be fair gatti had like 7 losses when he fought floyd. And jmm came up from 135 i believe to fight at a catweight of 144 and floyd didnt even make weight and they fought at 147. Just playing devils advocate. I had castillo winning the first fight too but its whatever. Theres no denying floyd is the p4p best in his generation

Why would Boxing fans need to defend it?:jbhmm:

UFC heads around the globe claimed McGregor and Rousey could see Floyd...so don't get scared now that Floyd has his sights set on embarrassing the UFC's cash cow:ahh:

it's because of these dumb ass UFCs who would tune in to watch his shyt is why it's even a possibility. it won't happen though, unless the UFC is truly for sale.

Alister Overeem won the K-1 grand prix not too long with is a stand up fighting touramnand came back to MMA.

Conor was a the national champ in ireland as an amateur, don't see what the problem is other than the fact he would get embarrassed.

I dont understand how this would potentially work. Would they be boxing?:dwillhuh:

Yes.

We've (us Boxing heads) put Boxers in the cage over the years (Ray Mercer, James Toney, Ricardo Mayorga) against MMA fighters...it's time for an MMA fighter to walk into the ring now:demonic:

Floyd got no shame he really acting like a groupie right now Floyd has nothing to gain but a check from this. Floyd so in love with the UFC he might as well start his own MMA promotion the best fighter of his generation boxing a fukking MMA guy how embarrassing to the sport.
