Guys Obama wasn't going to get everything. There was 1 main goal and 1 main goal only. Raise taxes on the Rich. Then there were other goals like keeping social security and medicare intact. As for the tax issue They started with 250 and they got 400. That's what's call negotiation. 250 may have been to low cause those are a lot of small business owners. 400k makes sense, one you start seeing that wealth you really are in a upper bracket. Now we have see how this all plays out but judging from republican reaction they didn't get much.

According to CNN only 0.6% of all Americans make more than 400K per year.

It's funny how a 2% raise on everyone making $105,000 or less is no big deal, but raising taxes by 4% on people making making $250,000 is tantamount to killing the economy.
