If theaters are hurting right now why don't they just start showing older popular flicks like Lord of the rings, bond, horror etc?

Watching Big Daddy & I’m trying to understand how Sonny put Julian in school without a birth certificate... yeah this is the late 90s but it was THAT easy to get a child enrolled in school without any paperwork?

Is this along the same lines of Home Alone pre 9/11 where people didn’t really question things where you can also run through an air port in a manic run yelling at the top of your lungs on your way flight at the last second ??

I’d assume there are more people not going to theaters re: safety than no new movies. Not sure how playing old stuff would appeal to the larger crowd who cares about social distancing

Most are. I know mine is. My local theater started back up with classics like The Goonies, Jaws, Back to the Future and now they got Star Wars Episode V. Halloween (1978) supposedly coming back to theaters & drive-ins this month.

Anyone watch the hbo show We Are Who We Are?? I don’t really watch much on here besides insecure and it’s a good show about gender identification and an American military base in Italy. Definitely recommended

Just finished Freaky(2020 teen horror comedy) and I see how people said it was the Hot Chick with horror elements added. It was and it was also Freak Friday, but with PG13 horror added. So more Freaky Friday the 13th as a title would be perfect to sum it without giving spoilers. Umm yeah, but it was decent.

Would I’d rather see it in theaters? No. Unless it was absolutely nothing else to see. Would I fire stick watch it again? Yeah sure, why not? What do i rate it? 3.5/5 daps it had legit a few funny moment & follows the teen horror tropes. And it had a few gay jokes that were kinda old but had a cute 2020 flare to it.

Yea but really, this movie isn’t one you’d have to re-watch. Rewatch value is 1/5 daps. It’s one of the movies you can wait for cable to watch. It might even be a movie you’d sit and watch on TBS on a Saturday afternoon.
It’s decent but not great. Just decent.
