Canelo can always say he looked at Cotto as a chance for a big PPV fight for the fans to see the Mexican/Puerto Rican rivalry pitting 2 elite Junior Middleweights (being that Cotto has never fought at the Middleweight max) and is now turning his attention on unifying the Junior Middleweight Division
Kinda like the same bullshyt yall accepted GGG saying why he was willing to move up and fight either Froch or JCC Jr at Super Middleweight...but stay at Middleweight.
Don't forget, Canelo is ALREADY on record saying he has no plans to become a Middleweight any time soon
