Official fight thread for GGG vs Lemieux: Oct 17 HBO PPV

Watched the first press conference, some notes:

- Said that the fight is nearly sold out, already sold 15,000 seats. Trying to free up more tickets.
- The $49.95 price was designed to drive buys, felt it was a sweet spot to get people to commit.
- Trying to make the undercard a worthwhile event.
- The 1" height difference, in favor of GGG, listed on Boxrec appears legit.
- GGG looked like the leaner fighter and Lemieux appeared to carry more weight in the upper body.
- Not sure if real or just that Lemieux's shirt was causing the effect, but it looked like Lemieux had a couple extra pounds around the mid section.
- WBC confirmed that the winner of this fight is the mandatory for Canelo-Cotto.
- Both fighters were very friendly to each other and it was stated they didn't need to sell animosity between them, the action in the ring should sell the fight.
- No rematch clause.

Nah $19.99 would have to be the price for me. I slander GGG on here to counter balance the massive undeserved felatio, but dude has exciting fights. But we ain't seen him rumble with a live cat yet. So why should I the consumer pay for something I see all the time for free (GGG beating a fighter down who's not near his level)?
