But very predictable and dated references, entirely too long for a plotless action flick-three major denouements/showdowns for the characters is excessive and smh at everyone but Brixton being able to give that work from the bad guys, c’mon fam.

At the end of the day it's only a spin off. I said it a long time ago that Fast 9 was going to make more money than this and I still believe that to be true. The asian audiences and the south american audiences are gonna come out heavy for Fast 9 so everyone need to just relax and collect that paper

It opened better than what a movie with Rock's name above the title usually opens at though. So the FF connection gave the movie somewhere between a $6 million to $25 million bump depending on if you think San Andreas was a fluke and The Rock's average opening is usually around $35-36 million.

Hobbs & Shaw: $60 million
San Andreas: $54 million
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle: $36 million
The Scorpion King: $36 million

If I have one problem with this movie, it doesn’t reach tango and cash fukkery levels. But what could?

I’m suprised tbh how good it was , how the comedy worked for me and how it didn’t seem insane even though it totally was . My only downside is the rock never acknowledging his black half but who knows maybe the main bad guy for this series is his dad or involves his dad

This was lit af. The nonstop fukkery and meaningless action from the jump. The last 30/40 mins or so was emotional and action packed. Jason Statham sister was a sexy white woman. Idris Elba was badass. The script was like a 15 year old who was high of Red Bull wrote it.

Definitely was worth seeing in theaters 8/10.
