Official Fantasy Football Random Thoughts Thread

This section is very unorganized and a lot of discussion is limited by random specific thread titles that are made for personal situations

Figured we could use a random thoughts thread for all the good thoughts everyone has that aren't fitting into those thread topics

I'm pretty big on hitting the waiver wire hard and rotating out the last couple of spots on my bench to try and grab some good players at the first sign of a spark. Will be posting some of the people I'm targeting and also just hearing about (my league is fairly deep so some sleepers are already scooped up).

Draft discussion welcome of course.

With that said, lets hear these thoughts and hopefully we can all help each other on to win our leagues this season

My Playbook | Import & Manage Teams


Good website I use to see where my players stack up against others in my league and some potential free agents.

They use a consensus of many (over 20) ranking sites to form a composite rank for players

Last year was the first year I have not done fantasy football, excluding daily fantasy. I've had 10+ teams the past few years, but that becomes too much now.

Keeper deadline in 3 hours in my 14 team league. Standard, no ppr. Need to keep 2 out of these 3.

• Mark Ingram (3rd round)
• Allen Robinson (2nd round)
• Jeremy Langford (12th round)

I've got the 6th overall pick. Guys like ODB, Hopkins, David Johnson and Todd Gurley are being kept by other teams already. What would y'all do, brehs?

In a PPR, I'd go Hopkins. I think he'll be a target monster. Dez is that dude, but Romo's security blanket has always been Witten.

i got the #2 pick in one of my leagues and i think everybody finally caught on to antonio brown i've been in 3 straight championships in this league and he's been my #1 pick every year. i'm thinking julio this year with the #2 if antonio gets picked first.

But who would you take in addition to him? Allen Robinson in the 2nd round (23rd pick) or Jeremy Langford in the 12th round?

I got an excel spreadsheet with 10 mocks from all 10 spots but I want some other suggestions

How do you brehs prep for drafts if you don't know what spot you are picking in until the day of the draft?

I got an excel spreadsheet with 10 mocks from all 10 spots but I want some other suggestions

Do mock drafts on ESPN or other sites. I do this to see a trend of where players get drafted.

I drafted Blake Bortles as my QB1 this year. I ain't saying the Jags are superbowl contenders but people need to start putting some respeck on his name, he was ranked as the 4th best QB last year and that offence is low key stacked AR15, Hurns, Julius Thomas, Chris Ivory and TJ Yeldon

. I was the last guy in my league to pick a starting QB as well in the 10th so im happy with the value

Also what do y'all think of Kamar Aiken? He also low key had a good year this year but I don't watch many ravens games but think he could be a good sleeper potentially
