I'm a Chelsea fan myself, yet I have no idea where these guys are coming from.

Yeah his performance tonight was sensational, but one great performance (against Hungary of all teams) does not make him (or anyone) a great player. Hazard (for Chelsea anyway) had 1 great season, 1 terrible season and a couple decent ones.

Ronaldo, Messi, Neuer, Suarez, Müller, Lahm, etc. have had 3/4/5 years of sustained top quality performances at the highest levels. The same cannot be said for Hazard.

I ain't say he's better than Messi. But he's definitely playing better than he has in a long, long time. That's all. He looked like a legit top 5 talent in the world out there today, and on point in the other games.
