They should have made it, but they're rebuilding. A lot of bad to mediocre players, RVP and Sneijder getting old, Robben staying hurt, and young players not living up to the hype. I think they're going to be in some trouble the next few years.

I'll go with the safe pick and say either France or Germany. If Italy had some of their key players healthy I think they would have made a nice run.
