I told y'all a few pages back that this show was pinning itself in a corner with over the top, unrealistic writing. Once you setup that kind of expectation of the overall mood of the show you can't do anything but follow through with it, which means you have to be more ridiculous in order to tie up plot lines that really had no where to go.

This show is going to crash and burn. It started off hot but I think the biggest mistake was having Tyler stalk dude and beat him up. After that you kind of have to follow through with his character arc...and because he's become so essential to the show it affects every other plotline. Writers had a layup and fukked it up. I don't see it making it past 3 seasons at the most.

Yes, this really is the worst part of the show for me. Nate just isn't smart enough to be pulling off these elaborate supervillain schemes that require having THREE different people lie to the cops for him on the same day. If even one of them doesn't cooperate, the whole thing collapses.

I just can't buy that the 22 year old man that he beat up (not raped) from the first episode would let himself get manipulated by some high school student. You'd have to be stupid to fall for that.

I also just can't believe that Jules would realistically believe that any one would charge her for child porno, when she's obviously underaged herself. So, instead she's going to commit a REAL crime by lying to the cops and sending some random guy to jail?

Nate's plan only works if he's confident enough to count on the people being manipulated to be a bunch of morons.

Nate is the perfect example of bad writing and a character on 10. He should not be able to do all this by himself at 18, get away with it, with no cracks in the plan.

I'm here for the style not the substance, none of the characters highlighted have an upside. That's why everyone likes Lexi, Fez and Ethan because they are the only grounded characters on the show.

Why TF ain't Jules just backmail (whitemail) Nate back and threaten to ruin his family?

She doesn't have enough concrete evidence, and Nate's family is too powerful. Jules would be putting her future at great risk.

Seems like they were setting up Jules drinking because she couldn't deal with being the reason Rue stays clean, and that would cause Rue to relapse...but instead we get she was doing all this drinking because of the shyt with Nate

I'm in because i fux with Zendaya, but thats the type of shyt that would make me toss a show to the bushes

None of the characters are well written.
Doesnt mean you cant enjoy the show but that doesnt mean the writing is great. Do you even know how to discern writing?
