Here's the thing, I think it's both. Jules hits a lot of the check marks that Rue mentioned he likes in girls : tennis skirts, thigh gaps, good posture, long necks, slender shoulders, no body hair, fruit body scents

I think there's a part of him that's genuinely attracted, but the other part of him views her as everything wrong with the world via his childhood and exposure to his dads secrets.

Nate legit feels a connection with Jules...he wasn't lying when he said these past 3 weeks were the closest he's gotten with someone. But Nate is a insecure paranoid downlow nikka. And at the end of the day, Jules is an open end to the potential of his life being over if he gets exposed. And that's a possibility he will not allow under any circumstances.
