New Day doesn’t need to disband in any way. They’re hugely popular due to their support for each other, and the WWE is a total failure when it comes to breaking up stables/teams unless you’re the Shield (see: Prime Time Players, Cryme Time)

I'm saying. Why are people so thirsty to see yet another lame ass betrayal/break up storyline? Especially one featuring one of the few teams/stables in WWE anyone even cares about?

People say WWE doesn't do anything exciting but then push for the most cliche and boilerplate shyt imaginable.

To me, the reason it feels like this right now is cause they still got a whole nother PPV happening in 3 weeks, which to me is unnecessary. Not sure why they think there needs to be TWO PPVs between Rumble and Mania. It'll probably be more clear after Fastlane, but that only leaves 4 weeks to head towards Mania, when the 6-week build has always done better.

They should have gotten rid of Fastlane after they decided to make the PPVs co-branded again. Now, they have to waste time booking another four-hour show that they don't need instead of starting to get their WrestleMania plans locked in.

At least they acknowledged Kofi did a good job and they pushed it further in EC
They couldve just ignored him since hes Alis replacement
Unless Ali was booked this way for sunday as well which i doubt

Yea I always thought it was Bryan hand picking his opponents on smack down. I never really saw it as a big push.

I don't at all. In fact I'd say it was quite likely they literally just plugged Kofi into Ali's spot like they did Ziggler in Roman's spot at SS 2014.

To me, it always seemed like they were just looking to make Ali a force while not necessarily making him champ. Get people to care and used to the idea that he could be WWE Champion, but then hold off until he was ready. No way was he going to be the challenger going into Mania.

If this was all about Ali vs Bryan at Mania, I would of expected Bryan to retain against him. If they do continue Bryan/Kofi, I would say it's a 60-40 Kofi goes over.

Daniel Bryan likes that kind of shyt...putting over his friends and underrated hard workers.

I believe the gauntlet story and it seemed like Kofi confirmed it to be the case but they had a whole week in between the chamber match, they could have laid out anything. I don't think Ali was going last in the chamber. He probably would have caught some ridiculous RKO off a pod or something..

Because that's how he's been booked on 205 and SD for over a year now.

I think they might do Kofi/Bryan because it doesnt seem like whatever they were planning with Bryan, if anything, wasnt very high profile anyway so that audibling to Kofi isnt a big deal.
